So, the weather is beautiful all week. I'm looking forward to the weekend so I can get some practice flights in before the big contest next weekend. And what do I get? It's POURING rain right now. Wind, rain, wind. Sheesh! Sigh.... Well, it was a thought.

Tell me about it Randy, I stayed home yesterday to work on the Oriental, it was marginal anyway, weather channel forcasted light overcast, winds of 2 to 5 mph, and 70 degrees, what do we get today? 60 degrees, full on overcast and a few sprinkles,, and wind, lots of wind, say oh, 15 to 25 mph,, so much for practice,, so I massaged some props instead and got more done on the Oriental,, maybe t0morrow,, they are forcasting rain and high winds,, so it will probably be clear right?

Mark,
It's been my experience that the weatherman is usually right in what the forcast is going to happen, but they are sorely lacking in timing. It usually happens, just not when they say it will happen.

Oh yueah,, how right you are Randy, what a perfect observation that is,,

Yeh, that's like saying "It's gonna rain, right at the end of this dry spell"--it always does. Or "We'll have some calm weather as soon as this wind stops blowing." And sure enough...See, my meteorology skills are perfect!

They certainly had it right today. But then, I could look out my window yesterday and do that. Constant, pounding rain. What fun. So much for the outside projects I was planing and I don't think the Novi can take a lot more wet weather. Sigh... Just have to practice up next week.

Hey Randy, are there lights on the field in Eugene,, maybe some "uder the lights": ala nascar practice?
