A Week at the NATS: Hotel paid for, daily meal allowances, and travel mileage !!

AMA is seeking nominations for an individual who can be in Muncie from July 8 - July 14, 2023. They are seeking to select an Event Support Specialist (ESS). The ESS supports the various Special Interest Groups (SIG's) who will be competing at the NATS during that period. In simpler terms, this person supports each Event Director (ED)during their competitions. The ESS has a golf cart assigned to them to move about the IAC at AMA HQ and drop by each site to see if their services are needed. The ESS is the link between each ED and the AMA folks overseeing the NATS. The ESS helps each ED run smooth and safe operations.

This is a unique and wonderful opportunity to get a sense of all that goes on during the NATS and meeting new folks as well as seeing some old friends. Each SIG has been asked to acquire nominees so that AMA can review each applicant and make their selection. Due to the nature of the position, the ESS cannot compete in any events during that period of July 8 - July 14.

Selfishly, I am hoping we can submit the name of the selected candidate!

Please consider this opportunity for yourself or someone you personally know and respond here or through a private message. I will contact each nominee and forward their names to Tony Stillman and Chad Budreau at AMA. I need to submit all our candidates within two weeks from today.

If we do not submit the names of potential candidates, the selected ESS will definitely be someone we do not know.

If she still wants the position why replace her.  I remember when her and Melvin, the wife(Janis) and JJ(my son went to her first NATS   She helped out in the carrier event.  Then it just went from there.  She is good.

I don't know, maybe because she completely ruined the Nats last year and didn't allow us to finish the contest,  resulting in no official Walker Cup winner, for the first time in history.  That, and she has been a miserable person to work with for as far back as I can remember her being around.
