It seems as the years keep going by, I ponder more and more how short our time is getting to hang around this great country and world that we live in. I would like to take the time to thank all the Armed Forces for all the freedom you have given us through your sacrifices and the pride you take in defending this great gift we call freedom and AMERICA. I wish you and all your families the most Blessed Christmas and the Happiest of New Years that GOD gives us to enjoy. Hope we have hundreds more.
I notice how now that I'm older, how sentimental and more thoughtful that I've become. I think more about what happens to the other guy and a little less of what's going on in my life. I sometimes think that things are rough and then I remember that I still have my health and the ability to enjoy all of you guys out there. I want to thank you all for all the Kindness and Friendship you have both shown and given me over the years and hope that I have done the same for you in our encounters.
May GOD Bless you ALL and YOUR FAMILIES in this joyest of Christmas Seasons and grant all of you a very Happy, Healthy and "Great Flying" New Year. I hope I get many more years to enjoy all of you and thanks again for all the good times.
Remaining yours in STUNT, with much love and affection,
Bob "Champione" Lampione

Well states Bob, there are so many friends that have gone on and so many more to stay involved with. Also there are the ones we have yet to meet in person. One of my friends that I am thinking of was my pilot in F2C until the 76 NATS. He did not let me know he couldn't make it. I not only lost a good plane, but, found out after that I was disqualified even after clearing the new pilot in processing the night before. We did get back together as friends, but, not as a team. Then a year or so after he moved away he was gone. I know who you will know who I am referring to when I ask if you and a former friend have resolved your differences. Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS and all the folks on this site. DOC Holliday
