:! :! :! I once saw where someone had available these thin stamped, top view, templates (I believe in brass) of various engine outlines, with mounting hole locations also stamped out, for use in engine positioning of mounting holes, shaft length etc., during the building process.
How about a cutter offering a selection of these for sale out of 1/8" ply or something? Hmmm... y1

Contact Eric at RSM and see what he says.

Yep. World Engines carried a nice line of these. Top view of crankcase from backplate screws to thrust washer with accruate mounting holes drilled. I can't remember the name of the manufacturer, but WE was the sole importer. The package card was all white with red and blue trim. The name was INCO, ENCO, something like that. There were nylon R/C C/L horns and hinges and dash instruments . . .

Testors- McCoy used to include a cardboard engine mounting templett with their Series 21 engines. It made marking the mounting holes quite easy . Maybe other engine manufacturers did that also. I wish they would start doing it again!

Let me know the dimentions of the engines you are interested in having tempolates for and I will be happy to cut a set out of 1/8" plywood. I will try to create a series of templates similar to whjat we used to see on the OS engine boxes.
