I have seen this video before and posted my comments back then.   I do hope they took time to put the poor ringmaster back together and used some of what I posted.    D>K

I do not know anyone involved in this video but the second gentleman who fell down should have had someone out there with him.  With each lap you could see the impending disaster.   Just watching the video I kept wanting to run out and take the handle for him.

Just glad no one was hurt.

I skipped to the end where it was launched and flying. Started as 4 second laps, then engine went lean, plane sped up to less than 3 second laps. That is when the pilot lost it. Had it maintained the 4 seconds or better yet was able to hold closer to 5 seconds through the flight, he would have probably managed the whole flight without problems. Plane looks repairable though.

I cringed every time they beat on that engine with the starter I don't own a starter but I have that same engine and it primes real easy and is always a 2 or 3 flip starter . TJ

It's easy if you know what to do. They seem to have forgotten how, and made it difficult.. H^^
There is a reason that God invented the lazy 8.  You never know when "Sh**" is going to happen and knowing how to sit down and finish out the tank is worth practicing it once or twice.   As kids, we used to do whole flights sitting on our butts, even laying down. It is actually sort of fun.
