Right next door in Gulf Shores.
There whole season was canceled this year but next year it's back on. #^

Ironic (well, maybe not) that the Blues (and T-Birds) were grounded while the 'Community Organizer' and his family managed to fly all over the globe in the world's costliest 747.
Glad to see the Blues will be back next year.

Well said Mike

But, if we had not shut down the military fly overs, we would not have gotten to see some great civilian fly overs. Especially the RV series of planes. Then there was the B-25 and several others helping NASCAR and the NFL. Great to hear they are back and still training to protect our great land.

Just found out the Blues will be doing the flyover at Notre Dame Vs Navy on Saturday.
This may be the first public display for them
We have tickets ;D

The Blue Angels will reportedly be back in San Francisco for Fleet Week in 2014. This is historically one of the biggest events in the Bay Area with a million airshow fans and just plain lovers of afterburners lining the waterfront for a mile or more. A few cranks always complain, but the general attitude is "screw 'em." There is also a great civilian airshow that goes with it, including the Mig team sponsored by Stoly vodka.
I could get political and mention who is responsible for the lack of funding for things like the Blue Angels and school lunches, but I won't. And that 747 is the same one used by all prior administrations for the last 20 years, for the same purposes.

I heard on the radio they will also fly over the Ohio St game.

The weather is marginal but they should get it in. There is another game today? Ohio what who ? :-)

Ah, yes, the Blue Angles. Spectacular, especially the 90 degree ones. LL~ Steve

Caught one pass with my iPhone missed the east west pass entirely very low did not need to zoom in. We were in row 42 so we did not get much warning to locate the aircraft and they came from behind

Years ago the Angels did a diamond-formation super-low pass over Candlestick Park during a 49ers game on the day of the airshow, when John Madden was coaching. Madden is famously afraid of planes and flying and it scared the living pi** out of him.
If you want to see the Blue Angels in what has to be hands down the most incredible venue in the world, see them fly over San Francisco Bay. The shock waves set up a rooster tail of spray on the water on the lowest passes. Lots of YouTube video of this. I can't wait for next year to welcome them back!
