Hey guys, thanks for the input. I guess I should have posted this in "What did you do in your shop today." but was to lazy to repost it. LOL. Anyway, and I think Ty can relate to this, a few years ago I spent a couple of days at Tom's house learning to build these wings. I thought I was a decent builder at the time but learned more from Tom in those couple of days than I ever did struggling by myself.
we built a complete profile Cavalier and I bought his building table and brought it all back to New Orleans with me. The last Millennium wing I built was about 4 years ago when I scratch built my first Imitation. That was before I came out with the kit. I have always been amazed how light these things are and I plan to fully sheet the wing. I talked to Tom a couple of days ago and he told me that almost 100% of the wings he now builds for other folks are fully sheeted.
Anyway, they are actually a lot of fun to build and take way less balsa which is a good thing considering what is happening in the balsa market.
Regards,
Mike
