A N O T H E R New Project
« on: February 23, 2008, 06:37:11 PM »
Here are two handles I am working on. I had the Tom Morris with bias in it. I do not like the bias so I am making one without Bias. Also doing a different type.

Not sure why but the 30 min expoxy has taken all afternoon to dry. It is because of the cold temps?

Here is the start.

It could be the cold temp. It could also be that your mix ratio was off or it didn't get mixed throughly enough.
The handles look great though!

It cured, but it took a few hours. I will try and sand them down today.

I like the Tom Morris handle. I own like 3 or 4 of them. Figured I had the wood and would give it a try. :!

I got a little more done today. I still have the other one to work on.

This one is red to match the Cardinal. #^

Ah, color cordinated handles.  Great idea.  That way you know which handle goes to which airplanes.  Looks good.  DOC Holliday
