It doesn't look too fast. It is just sitting in his hand.

Yeah Chancey but you should see that baby when she catches fire.

"Real" DynaJet or one of the Hobby King engines? Tube didn't look very used and if HK copy, wondered how it performed.

Dang! Now that I am on my PC I have a better picture and another question. Besides them little wings and tail, what is the plane there for anyways? The engine honestly appears bigger than the plane. I cant imagine that the plane is anything comparable in weight to the engine. I would like to see a video of this thing in the air.

Obviously you've never seen or heard a jet speed model. A real Dyna-jet which puts out about 4-6 pounds of thrust and makes enough noise to wake the dead. Years ago, they used to turn close to 200mph, but changes in the rules have reduced speeds. Google CL jet speed and try to find a video.

Cool, but I'll be
really
impressed when someone takes a pair of them and builds an F-14 Stunter!

the fuse is to hold the large tank ,takes over 6 oz of fuel to get in a 7 lap flight that plane is 2 line sport jet and top speed is about 160 MPH on 60 ( i believe ) ft lines. a fast jet can still do over 195 MPH on a 70 ft .033 mono line wire

It is my understanding this is a Dyna Jet, not the Hobby King knock off. As far as speed, I think I heard 160 mph mentioned. I wouldn't hold on to this thing if you paid me. I go hide behind a car.
Bob posted the speed the same time as me.

Back in the day it was considered normal for a stock Dyna Jet to turn 150 mph on 70 foot .021 lines before mono line caught on.

the funny part is that a jet is probobly the safest plane there is. if an OS 65 is coming at u ,you have an 8/8 prop turning around 20,000 RPM wanting to chew u up .the jet has no prop ,just the hot pipe to stay awqy from

Once you hear a Dyna-jet fire off, you'll never forget it. And you'll always get excited if someone brings one out to fly. Hopefully, Banjock will bring his Dyna-jet stunter to Brodaks again. What fun!
If we could clone about a dozen more Banjocks we'd never have to worry about the future of control line.

Here's mine Mike. I've entered three speed contests with it. This last one was a disaster! There's a write up of my shenanigans in the "control line competition newsletter". I always have fun at the speed contests. I think I've learned to run my mouth more than to win
