A few shots of NVCL StuntFest
« on: September 23, 2017, 07:50:58 PM »
I attended the Virginia contest NVCL StuntFest today. This was my first time there. Those guys did a great job setting up the contest. Thanks guys I had a great time! Meet some new people there and ran into a few guys I already knew, always fun catching up with the guys. Every contests I go to I learn new things to improve my pattern.

I flew my ARF Nobler in Intermediate PA and it treated me well today. Great competition and it was a fun time, I even won 1st place! I got a lot complements on my engine run too. I also won furthest travel to the contest, sure was a long day with a lot of driving but well worth it. Heck the free lunch was worth the ride there, thanks again guys!

Saw this Smokey and Bandit truck on my way down to the contest. I wonder what was in it.

Saw a wing break in half in flight, I hope it's repairable. Flapping like a bird but it was a beautiful landing considering...

Nice Report, Nice Pictures! Thanks for the post! You and your ARF Nobler really did a fine job in Int. PA! Perhaps it was the Flying The Patterns tape which helped you to do so well! Hope to see you a Brodak's FlyIn next year, and again at the NVCL Stunt Fest. I agree that Club really did do a fine job all around, field, air and FREE Food and drink! Hats off to NVCL Club too!

Thanks Phil, it was nice to meet you!  I had a blast there. I should of told everyone that asked what engine was in my Nobler that it had a PA75 LL~ The weather was awesome too, did get a little windy later in the day though. Hey Phil do you have a video that teaches you how to read wind direction when it's jumping around on you during your flight??
