I have a Nobler doing the same thing with a LA 46. Someone suggest the front bushing.
Someone suggest the front bushing.

.
If so
you should see little drops of castoroil between propdrive and the end of crankshaft bushing.
Could be a worn out/oversize (dia) bushing.
For my understanding,
an engine with oil leak is hard to adjust ,running lean / runaways ,
like "fresh gas" leaking backplates.
A flying Buddy once had leaking LA backlate with unstable lean runs.
As bigger the gap as more oil Content (%) is needed.
My OS LA 46 Manual says:
20% Castor ,
works for me , no ABN liner Problems so far.
My OS LA 46 is spitting light yellow casteroil (Honey) out off its muffler,
"EASY" to clean.
