A Couple Whatzits

These are auction buys, the green one had a OK .14 and the blue a lapped McCoy .36 Super Stunt. I cannot identify these models. Both are at least based in kits, all the ribs and fuselage sides are diesmashed. The green one I think is at least based a Ziltch, span is 32". The other I have no clue, I thought it one of the VECO line but I don't have a product list with pictures, whatever it is it looks modified too.  They're both pretty rough but with allot of TLC could be made into fun-flyers, however I'm not inclined to do that, they will end up on the auction. block

The blue and silver one looks like a heavily
modified All American Sr.

I was going to guess that the blue and silver one was a Johnny Casburn "Miss Behave" or one of the similar designs from that manufacturer. I think the Miss Behave had a sheeted leading edge but the upright engine, rectangle wing, small flaps, triangular turtle deck and rudder/horiz stab/elevator shape fits.

Wrong wing construction. Oh well, I'll list them on Ebay ad see what happens, I have a very large trash bin as an alternative!

This is a prime example of why every one of our planes deserves the chance to "go out in glory."  This is what happens when they don't.  Not good enough to retire to a museum wall somewhere, they end up like this.  Seems like every contest should conclude with a garbage can event - sort of like the Obamacare death panel for model airplanes....

We used to do that with the Old Sky Devils of KCMo.   Demolition derby.   Flew rounds like combat.  Knock your opponent out of the or make him unflyable, the plane that is.

The blue and white one is a first model Veco TomTom. Wing construction gives it away. The original did not have moving flaps..

Ahhh Thanks Ed, I still think the other one is a modified Zilch but I don't know which one.
