A closing prayer for Memorial Day
« on: May 27, 2013, 09:36:34 PM »
A closing prayer on Memorial Day.

Heavenly Father please tell those soldier heroes in your kingdom who died protecting our country, so the rest of us here in the United States of America can enjoy our daily freedoms, that we are eternally grateful and remembered them on this day called Memorial Day for the sacrifice they made so that we may live as free men and women.  Many like myself served during wartime and made it back home.....many did not..... and for those who did not, please tell them we are thinking of them and someday soon we will shake their hands in a kingdom that has no wars and peace abides...

AMEN

Ahmen Mike ,
I'm not a religious sort, but I do appreciate your prayers. Our great country owes a dept than can never be repaid, to our service men past and present. This day means a lot to me and I sometimes think that our liberal establishment takes our freedoms for granted. To those I respectfully say KISS MY ASS!
My son, and thousands upon thousands have spilled blood so that you can sleep comfortably at night and take for granted, the liberties you enjoy.

God bless this great county and our brave troops defending our liberties.

I will save this prayer, and repeat each Memorial Day, 9/11, and December 7th, among other days.
Thanks Mike....
