Title: 70% is good enough for me!
Post by: Bill Heher on April 29, 2011, 07:14:23 AM
Currently the "Talking Heads" on TV are saying that Shuttle Endeavor has a 70% chance of good weather for this afternoons launch.

That's good enough odds to get me in the car and headed over to watch - only 1 more chance to see a Space Shuttle launch after this one. I plan to be there for the final launch too, with pride in my chest and a tear in my eye as I say goodbye.h

Hope it goes.  Think it will be visible from Destin Fl?

Just scrubbed for at least 48 hours. Some sort of APU heater problem.

Bill Heher,
Today's launch scrubbed.
As you may/may not know, they are predicting 700,00 + coming here to view the launch, if it happened today.
If you come over Sunday or ??, plan accordingly.
Last launch, Discovery, traffic on the Bee Line was stop and go back to the Orlando Airport 15 minutes before launch.
Post launch traffic on I95 southbound was stop and go to Stuart until about 10pm.

It is definitley worth watching, plan accordingly.
