...no apology necessary Joe, but I flew 8 flights...not 2, making our flights-total yet more. Unfortunately...(actually Fortunately,) I managed after talking with Al T. about Henry Weeks and his legendary wind flying ability to get a little (a lot) carried away today in wind that was a little (a lot) to turbulent and was blasted into that stuff below the air and put my worst flying S-1 to rest after a long hard life. (It's really fine...just needs a new wing.)

Total for the FMP Fun Fly is 34 Ringmaster flights .... John- looking at the fuselage sitting on the LG is looks like it was a hard landing and the wings just fell off.  Get it back together quickly.

OK EVERyONE, don't let your flights fall through the cracks! You need to report to the official Fly-A-Thon email address by noon eastern tim (USA) tomorrow with the information about your flights. If you want to be counted as participating in the Fly-A-thon (and we need your flights!!) make sure you get it done!!!

Here AGAIN if the email address:

ringmasterflyathon-2013@yahoo.com

You can look for the final tally sometime tomorrow evening (sooner I hope but then I don't do the tally  ;D)!!

That 2000 flight barrier that we could not break last year -- well I am told (without any numbers) that it may be within reach this year!!  #^ #^ #^

I hope I am not disappointed!!  DK^

A post that I placed after Akihiro Danjo's post, congratulating him on his fine Ringmaster and his good friends in Japan, has evaporated. So, once again, good job Akihiro, you have a pretty airplane and a great group of supporting friends!

I also claimed four S-1 Ringmaster flights for October 6th, ably launched by my  wife, Linda Bob.

One weekend of the year, no Ringmaster gets left behind!

New brothers is ALWAYS good. Thanks.

Do not expect news until this evening. Watch on the Brotherhood Forum!

I am going to be off line for a good while as Mary and I are visiting an old and dear friend of her's who has been given only one to two weeks to live.

Pray for Gretchen and also for those 2000 flights!!

I'll be checking in late tonight to find out the results myself!

Wow, I was able to get back on the internet this morning and discovered that we SMASHED the 2000 flight goal!!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who flew and to those that wanted to but got rained/blown out of the chance to fly!! Australia and Brazil had big numbers of flights THANK YOU!!! Still it was the rest of us that flew that really put us over the goal.

The spirit of control line aviation is alive and well and YOU all have just proven that over this historic weekend!!!

2500 flights next year???

Do  we have a number on the number of people that put in at least one flight.   I know the total number of flights is important, but how many people did it take.   I know in Topeka we only had half the number of people, but increased the number of flights a bit.

Good point Doc! I don't know off hand but maybe we can prevail on Richard Grogan to come up with the number!! Send him a PM!

I would do it but I am tied up with other stuff right now.

This was end of last flight 2013 in Topeka KS.  It is being stripped down now and being rebuilt for 2014.   Glad no BOM as I didn't built it.  I just assembled it.
