Today was a 60th anniversary for me. No not a wedding anniversary. Even if you add all three marriages together I have not been married that long.
60 years ago today when I was 9 years old we went to a 4th of July celebration at a town about 20 miles from where we lived on a farm. That was much more of a trip then than it is today. I can only remember a couple of things about that 4th. I saw my first control line plane flying and I also saw one crash. I vowed that someday I was going to have one of those and sure enough 60 years later I have had a lot of crashed planes. Now I even have some that have not crashed. It was at least 2 years until I saw another one. And some 12 years later before I had one. The first time I tried to fly one it happened to be at the same circle where I had seen my first one.

That's awesome! y1
Today was an Anniversary for me, too. Mine IS a wedding anniversary. 36 years of marriage, and 37 years to the day since our first "date". ;D
I wasn't dumb, I decided that I couldn't easily forget the 4th of July! And, we greatly appreciate all the wonderful parties that the whole country throws to celebrate our anniversary! **)
