Instructions or construction guides,  who needs those.   It is when you are done and you have parts left over you look for the instructions right> LL~ LL~ LL~

Good Morning Shug;

  Not specific to the Tutor, but RSM does have guides for some of their kits on line at: http://www.rsmdistribution.com/guides.htm.  There is also mention that the Mackey Lark "...uses a "D" Tube wing and a Box style fuselage. As this style of construction is common to many other RSM Kits, the wing and fuselage construction can be used for other kits in the RSM line."

Is the Tutor based on original Top Flite kit  or is it the more recent upsized Tutor which was available as ARF?
What is the preferred matching Electric setup package?

And of course you know to ask if you get stuck.  It's hard to remember that sometimes people need instructions beyond "Look at the pieces and the plans.  Do the obvious."

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

It is based on the original Tutor.  Not the larger ARF

Electrical set up I would suggest is the RSM 35-40 System.

I comes complete with prop, motor, ESC, KR governor, Battery. All soldering is done, the Governor is fully programmed with RPM, Start delay, Flight time and gain (that's what increases the rpm when you enter a maneuver) already set. We bench run the system prior to shipping so all you have to do is to mount it on the fuselage, insert a fully charged battery and flip the switch.

To order the system go to our web site www.rsmdistribution.com  or call us at 951-678-1406 (pacific time zone)

      Twin Pathfinder

            I have the August 2010 Flying Models issue with the Pathfinder Twin construction article. I can scan and send it if anyone who bought Eric's kit is interested.

Dan

    I'll have to send print copies of the article so please provide me with your postal address.

    I'm unable to e-mail the article as the scanned article size is too large for my Mac mail system (double talk for I don't know how to reduce the file size). I've screwed up my e-mail trying to send it and can't contact the two requests I've already gotten.

    So I'll need a snail mail address for anyone interested in the article.

I haven't seen the RSM  (or the Brodak)  "plug-and-play" electric system, but this means --no more excuse for waiting to fly electric.

Many have stayed away from electric because of the confusion associated with the right motor, battery, ESC, etc.  This puts it all right there and ready to go!

Hey Floyd;

The RSM system works properly before I send them out. That's why they're guaranteed.

Just install the motor, speed controller, KR governor, Put the supplied prop on the motor. Plug a fully charged battery in, flip the switch and you are flying! I have tried to make these systems as easy to use as the OS40FP. Customers who have them tell me that I have succeeded.
