Hi, Bob - last time I was out to Carmichaels, I was told that many, if not all lodgings were sold out.

The Comfort Inn seems to be the most popular, followed by the Econo-Lodge.

There was a recent post somewhere by Joe Messinger describing lodging in West Virginia - not all that far.

You might also call information for the Carmichaels area. Try and find the Top Hat restaurant/motel on Rt 21. It's reopened and it's close and very reasonable.

..I got one of the last rooms at the ecocolodge...comfort inn sold out...the clerk told me some guy fron Spain had booked a room...Ive nver been, sounds big.
