Is Heman's Nobler a Green Box that he made to look like a Gieseke? It sure looks like the TF Gieseke kit. :D

Hemans Nobler is in fact a geiske,gieske (not sure how to spell it)
i believe Heman bought it from Bob Chernys family.

AND, they even used to have WAM Contests in San Jose, (That's at the south end of the Bay Area Bill)
on Sunday's near the 4th of July in the late 50's and 60's.  They had them at a High School there,
forgot the name though.

Yes Jim I remember it well as I am a charter member of WAM and ever 4 th of July the Balsa Busters of San Jose would have a contest, Clubs like S,F. Vultures ,Stockton air Devils ,Fremont Prop Busters, San Leandro Line Twisters and Many more clubs with meets just about ever week.With Nats. at Diffrent Navy bases around the U.S. it gave a lot of people a chance to make a Nats. ( with Good weather ) y1

Then there those of us in CENTRAL California  (near Fresno)  Who get to go to both the Nor- Cal Contests
and the So -Cal contest. 105 degrees is no fun though today! W Hicks
