Hi. I think original Vector (I have a paper copy of the take apart version from Tom Dixon) is a perfect option.

Dwayne,
Stunt Stu and the Toronto guys built a take apart Vector for the Worlds in 2010 . It was powered by an Aerotiger .36 . You might contact Pat about the greasy bits .
