Hazel Sig's Pitts S-1C at OShkosh. Recently completed 6 year restoration after about 30 years of not flying.

   Hi Bruce;
   Well that is pretty cool! I got to see and talk with Hazel at her birthday party and at the C/L Fun Fly this summer. I wonder if she knows that it's ready to fly again? I have her B'Day coffee mug in front of me and on the mug her Pitts is dark blue in color. Is it still registered as N593A? Just curious.
   Type at you later,

Owned by Harvey Swift of Arkansas. He is a family friend of the Sigafooses and also owns their single seat Space Walker as well.

He got the Pitts from Hazel in the late 80s and started a restoration but due to an unfortunate series of events it sat unfinished until a few years ago. Hazel has seen it since it was finished.

He had a great photo album showing Hazel in its original colors, the restoration progress and a picture of Hazel from a few weeks ago. She looks great!

It won the Paul Poberenzy Founder's award for best classic home built. It is about perfect, a 20 pointer for sure.
