Just a last minute reminder...we'd love to see you at this friendly gathering of Florida controliners.
On November 24th, 2007, The Ridge Barnstormers of Lake Wales will be hosting the 3rd CENTRAL FLORIDA FLY-IN at the Geroge Breen Field, 11 miles east of Lake Wales on SR60. This is a noncontest open flyin for control line models. Food and drinks available. Primitive RV parking allowed the nite before(please let us know if you plan to.). AMA required. No landing fee. Two grass circles. Field opens for flying at 9AM. Come on up, down, or over for a fun filled day.
If you have not already, please Email or call with a head count in your party so we can plan enough vittles. Menu will be burger or brat, drink, and chips for $6.

Well I glued a new rudder on the Ringmaster, fired up the old Fox .29 on the Shoestring and charged the glow starter.
Just checked the forecast and it looks like we will be enjoying some of the best weather in the US tomorrow! See you there.

Bill,
Tourists are in town, in droves.
FHP out in force near WDW and EPCOT exits on I-4.
See you there.

Yep- I saw the FHP on Wed when I drove over to Clearwater for family Thanksgiving. For the guys coming from Tampa they had a "Wolf pack" lined up on the East bound on-ramp at the east end of Lakeland, I saw about 6 up on the ramp and 4-5 more had cars pulled over, so use your cruise control.

Wow!
Yesterday was another outstanding day at Ridge Barnstormers of Lake Wales.
Sincere thanks to Phil Coopy and his club for once again hosting the Fly In. AP^ CLP**
Hopefully our new field will be ready in the early spring so we can reciprocate.

What Roger said!!! I had a ball. The weather was great. There was a very good turnout with lots of planes on the flightline and lots of flying. The burgers and brats were great also. Thanks to Phil Coopy and the Ridge Barnstormers for making this fun day possible. I am already looking forward to doing it again next year.
Hope someone will post some photos. Like a dummy, I forgot to put my camera in the car.

Thanks Phil, the group from east Orlando had a lot of fun. The weather was good and what a day to spend with friends enjoying flying and food. Look forward to the next one.

Bill,
I did not take many pics, I know others will post later.
