3/8" Jig rods

Where is a good place to get 3/8" Stainless steel 60" rods for a wing jig. A company name would be great, and yes I realize it would be best to pick up in person.  TIA

Lester I used aerrow shafts and got inserts to put them together. You might find something like that a parts store. but think it would not be as straight as aerrow shafts, good luck.

Hi Lee,
Might I suggest 3/8" tubes, instead? Much lighter for shipping, and you can "bore sight" them to be certain they're straight. Easiest jig is like Al Rabe's jig for the P-51 -  - Just a bunch of 1x4 x ? with nails driven in to support/align the tubes.

This site has about any size or type you may be looking for. I bought two 3/8 aluminium tubes for a Rabe type jig and they arrived in perfect condition.

I got mine from online metals also and when I told them what I needed they fastened them to a strip of plywood 6' long. Straight tubes on arrival. Get the thickest walled ones they have and you will have no worries.

Sometimes I use Carbon Fiber Rods and then glue them in...works super

I needed two sizes and found them at the local Archery Store. It seems the aluminum arrow shafts come in metrics and are just a tad larger than 3/8"  or 5/16", but the nice thing is one of those shafts will fit into the other and I used them to join into longer tubes. I just cut one tube the size I needed to join the four and used super glue. That was four years ago and they are still straight as an, dare I say it, arrow.

Sometimes my I misjudge the yardage a bit and the arrow my not be that staight .

Received my rods today from Online Metals and in great shape, packaging was excellent should work great in my home made jig from Stuntress plans. Thanks for the help.
