Title: 35th Anniversary Golden State Stunt Championships; October 19-20
Post by: Brian Massey on May 13, 2013, 10:03:16 AM
Good News! The City of Madera has approved the application to again host the GSSC at the airport. We will be flying at the same site as last year, which most everyone seemed to like. I've also been in touch with the Hampton Inn; they are looking forward to our return, and are happy to let us host the Saturday night banquet there again.

This year marks the 35th Anniversary . . . gotta think of something special . . .

More later!

Brian

Where "seemed to like" = "the best contest site I have ever seen"!

I in total agreement with Brett.  The Canadian contingent are planning on being there again.

No passport is required to get into California, but you are not allowed to take apples and such with you. Only electric cigarettes are allowed. I think you're good to go! LL~ Steve

No problem getting the apple in, there are plenty of unwatched holes in the border. Once in, life is easy for undocumented apples; they even get free tax payer funded treatment for worms. If it's about to bare an anchor apple, even better benefits await.

This would actually be funny, if it wasn't so true.

It’s already on my calendar.  The Az. crowd had a great time last year.

Count me in! Awesome contest venue. Flying field is two minuets from the hotel and that's if you drive real slow.

Yeah, but I'm not too up on your "official" language down there. How will I communicate with most of you "seniors" down there.
