Title: 3/4a Spitfire
Post by: ray copeland on March 09, 2008, 11:51:16 AM
Finished Spitfire built with plans borrowed from Rootbeard. Hope to fly soon, too windy today.  Powered by Norvel .074 , 1 ounce tank.

Looks Great Ray !!!!

I got the plans from Ron Burns.

It is a kick in the pants to fly. In the right hands it will do a pattern.

It looks a lot like a Dick Sarpolus designed plane. Black Hawk Models kits his Spitfire,
WWW.BLACKHAWKMODELS.COM look under PS kits from the catalog page.

The plans were hand drawn by Ron himself.
I think it designed for the Norvel .061.

I would suggest .012x52' lines...unless you want three-second laps.  ;D

That's a lot of engine for that plane.

Good luck with it.
