Title: 33rd Brazilian Championship
Post by: MarcusCordeiro on November 16, 2013, 02:03:40 PM
Folks

It gives me great pleasure to bring a little from our national championship.
It's gonna take sometime to organize a few pics, 'cause I'm off to the prize-awarding party at a steakhouse.
I'm proud to say I finished 3rd in Advanced, fighting the hurricane there was today.
I'll talk more about it later because of course there's a lot of good stuff to show you.
How about this one for starters???

Marcus,

You're always doing good things for the hobby and don't think it's not noticable. Thanks for that.

You have a great flying field there, how did that come about?

Does your town need a sign shop or tennis instructor?

Thanks for the great pictures and video.  The Misquito is going to be awesome once trimmed out.   Also you guys are so lucky with a flying site like that.  In our city, if it is not soccer, baseball or football, don't even try talking to them.  Now that is off my chest.  Marcus I should have a package on it's way to you and the guys in a couple of days.   H^^

From Argentina, Mr. Carlos Barrabino.
He and his son Adrian were the only two four stroke at the contest.
Adrian unfortunately had a crash, destroying his model... Bad Wind...
Great flying!!

I'm definitely jealous of the flying field.  Are those stands ever full?

Congratulations on your placing Marcus, and thanks for the pictures and the glimpse of competition there in Brazil.  Really a nice looking field.  Thanks for including us in the fun!
Sorry about the bad weather...that just happens every where sometimes.
Even here in Tucson we had a VSC rained out one year, and that sort of thing rarely happens here.

Hi Marcus, and hi for the other brazilians here at stunthanger! Hi for all the USA and from the all other countries!

I´m please to have finished the 33º Brazilian Champs! In my first one, flying a electric model (I´m flying electrics for 3 years right now).

I was able to a 10 place, and for sure I´m happy with it. After a crash due to a handle flaw.... I had the two cables loose from the handle.... It was made buy a great guy in Ukraine... it happens... actually I would like to advice anyone that bought a metal cable handle in Bulgaria in the last WC to inspect it carefully!!! It may crash your model and maybe kill some spectator!!!

My plane simply don´t fly in the wind. I´m sure that if we had better wind, or at least it stayed in one direction.... it would be much better. I´m building a new model and all the problems that I have with this one will be solved.... I guess....

Soon I will post some final (Top 3) videos ok!

Thanks for all the guys that helped me to acchieve the knowledge necessary to fly the electric model I´m flying nowadays (Wil Hubin, Dennis Adamisin, Norm Wittle, Robert Storick, Bob Hunt and all the Stunt Hanger guys!!!)

Regards!

I'd like to thank you guys for the kind words and for taking time to read and see the pics.
All I did was take a few pics and post here.
I still don't know what to say about this accomplishment... But I know I would have made my old man proud... This one was for him...
Miss you Dad...
