Well done Matt.

Pit stops would be interesting y1

Yeah too bad the video person did not know what he/she was doing. Would love to see more of Matt's planes in the air. Yes Matt, I will get started on the Folkerts one of these years. H^^

The Cameraman was former F2C World Champion Pitman Grant Potter and to be kind, I didnt tell him that the camera was in video mode, he thought he was taking stills.
Heres one I took with my left hand while flying...

Here are two videos that we shot in the Denver area with two CL scale models several years ago
The first video has the video camera attached to the airplane itself

the second video has my F7F tigercat in formation with Lynn's P-38.

Fred,
Those two videos are fantastic. Is the P-38 Don Hutchinson's design?
-
The p-38 was built by Lynn Boss from scratch using a 3-view (enlarged). The F7F was also scratch built from my own plans (enlarged 3-views). In fact that F7F is now over 14 years old and was flying before Brodak had his kit released. The Red and white large camera plane was also scratch built from my own plans and design.

That first field photo looks like a me-262 an unknow and a mosquite to me ?

Thanks for the videos Fred. For those that don't know, that is Lynn's back yard. H^^

Almost right, Right to Left, ME-262, De-Havilland Mosquito and Westland Whirlwind. The Mosquito has 2 Veco 19's whereas the other two have OS20's. Matt also owns a P38 Lightning and a Bristol Beaufighter... so next time we could get 5 UP!
-
The Whirlwind has been one of my fave twins (along with the DH Hornet) ever since I had an Airfix kit of one when I was very young....
-
The ME-262, Mosquito and the Whirlwind look great. Fun stuff flying in formation. Having 5 in the cirlce will be challenge. We flew 4 in the circle at one time and that was interesting. The lead model developed engine troubles and you should have seen the scramble to get out of the way and we all had throttle control.
Awesome stuff
