3 and 4 blade wood props
« on: August 20, 2018, 05:49:19 PM »
Has anybody tried these props ? I am looking for a wide 3 or 4 blade prop for my Urtnowski Spitfire powered
by a Ro Jett 65 with a header/muffler. Brian Ether has them but they are off the mold and have to be finished yourself.

Hi Kevin.  Just my opinion but I think I'd go for the carbon Brian Eather props.  They don't cost much more and the finishing isn't too hard.  They allow you to tweak the pitch in fine amounts and  RO Jett .65 is a bunch of power and torque.  I'd be just a little intimidated with a wooden prop that was glued together in the hub.  It could crack inside a spinner and you wouldn't know until it launches projectiles your way.
