2nd annual Las Vegas Stunt Challenge poll / update

I have been working a lot on our 2nd stunt contest in Las Vegas. I'm putting this out there as a bit of a poll for voting. I can see Nov. 09, 10, 11 as a good weekend. Or Dec. 14, 15, 16 as a good weekend.
The AMA expo is the first weekend in Nov. 02, 03, 04. If the Las Vegas Circle burners contest is more interesting to CL flyers than the expo, I'd be willing to throw that date into the poll also.
Please reply here or PM me any thoughts and ideas. We will be making the final decision on April 12th during our club meeting. I will be setting up hotel block room rates after that.

 It Will not be at the same venue. The contest will be held at our home field, Bennett airfield. Last year was a wonderful turn out. I'd love for this to grow each year. I'm very happy to have met and flown with so many of you during this recent contest season.

Those might be pretty good dates. Two potential conflicts to keep in mind would be the Valley Circle Burners 1/2A--1cc Non-Contest on November 18th at Sepulveda Basin and the Speed, Racing and Combat Toys for Tots Contest on December 1 & 2 at Whittier.

Thank you Dave. I have those two on my event calender. From our airfield to Whittier Narrows recreation area is 3.5 hours. Sooooo..... our dates shouldn't affect the Knights too much as long as its not the same days.
So far the votes are for Nov 09, 10, 11. What do you think?

I think November has got two advantages:

--Historically it is about 10 degrees colder in December. (ref.: http://www.holiday-weather.com/las_vegas/averages/december/.  There is probably a better weather reference, but I can't seem to locate it right now. It had surface winds and winds aloft going back lots of years and should have had Las Vegas in it. I used if for flight test program planning for California airports. The ref. I included was pretty iffy on historical winds....)

--Probably better to stay away from the Christmas holidays and that hectic season.
