I have not been able to get in the chat. It starts to load and then stops about half way done.

I've had that problem also. I'll put my name down click the enter and get nothing but blank screen.

Yes I get the blank screen too. At the bottom there is a block that shows the progression of completion. Mine goes about half way and stops - the same place every time.

I log on I see peoples name on the right side a small place at the bottom to write something and two words at the end , Say and Act.  the rest of the page is blank.

Type something in the box and hit enter. The page will refresh. And you will see someone there.

Click on the rectangle at the bottom and type, then click either "say" or "act". Doesn't make much difference. It would be swell if there was a way to tell if somebody's "In Chat" before you bother to go in, yourself. You can log into "Chat", minimize and go back into the Forum and wait. If you hit the "maximize" button on your browser, you can have two small screens up, so can sorta watch chat while you read or post on the forum. And I'm using WindersXP and it works fine. If it "stalls" (half loaded), try hitting the button again to give it a nudge in the posterior.  Steve

Sounds like you guys need a set time to gon on line and stay there.  My wife's aunt Betty would gon online and send message, then wait until a response.  DOC Holliday
