Everyone,
Hard to believe that we are only 4 weeks out from the kick off of the official events for this year's National Championships. The weather has seemed to have moderated from what we experienced in the Spring, although the folks of Texas may not feel that way with Beryl passing through. I suppose it has been a little warmer than normal as well. Probably helpful in preparation for Muncie.
I thought it might be good to get the schedule back to the top of the list for this year's event. A new item for me is maybe not being able to provide copies of the circle assignments and flight orders at the 180 building. Will work on this more after I get on site but be assured that I will have hard copies of these important items available the same day, just maybe not at the 180 building. They will also be posted for reference on Stunt Hangar and I am sure that someone will transfer them to facebook for review as well.
We (Mark Weiss and I) are hearing that maintenance is being done at the L-pad as well as the other hard surfaces that will be used at the World Championships the following week. This is not a full repaving but filling of the cracks along the perimeter of the circles. Stay tuned as I will provide any updates that become available along the way. Still plenty of duct tape available if needed.
Keep practicing and polishing and if you have not entered yet, please do. We are at 56 entries total for the main event: 33 Open, 20 Advanced, 1 Senior and 2 Juniors.
