2023 US Nats-1 month to go!!!
« on: June 09, 2023, 08:55:18 PM »
Everyone,
There is one month left to practice, polish and practice some more before our annual gathering in Muncie, IN.  Registration continues to increase.  There are 37 Open, 16 Advanced, 1 Junior, 2 Seniors currently registered for action on the L-Pad and 3 Intermediate, 1 Beginner, 4 OTS, 4 N30 and 10 Classic entries for the grass circles.  There are 14 people registered for the banquet through the AMA (not sure of the total on the PAMPA website but the rumor is currently around 70).  The link below will take you to the PAMPA website to sign up for the Banquet if you have not done so yet:

https://pampacl.org/product/2023-banquet/

If there are questions about how to enter, feel free to send along a private message and I will do my best to help out.  Default backup is to call Yolanda Jones @ 765 287 1256 ext261.

If you would like to help PAMPA defray the costs for awards and other items related to the Nats, please contact Michele Lee as found in this thread:

Wynn Paul will be at the L-Pad Pavilion early on Sunday with his History of Stunt book set as well as at the Banquet with copies available.  I believe the cost for the 2 book set is $200 at the Nats.  Wynn will also be at the Pavilion during the early part of the week with books available.

I am attaching the finalized schedule here for reference.  Everything has been locked down for a while now and looking ready for this year.  There were some repairs made to the L-pad cracks late last season that have made a noteable improvement over the conditions from last year.  I have not seen them yet but will have some gap bridging duct tape handy just in case.

Feel free to share any comments or questions here or with me via private message, email, text or phone call.

John

So we can sign up for the banquet either from our Nats registration at the AMA website OR the Pampa website?

Steve,
Yes, you can sign up at either location.  The PAMPA site is supposed to be sending a receipt via email but is not displaying the list of attendees on the website.  AMA is showing the list of those who have signed up if you can weave your way through the maze to find it.

I see that you signed up via AMA.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

Regards,
John

2200 miles away and held in one of the 3 months I absolutely can’t leave town for 2 weeks. 😡
A hot button topic for me every year! I knew when they made Muncie the perma-home I’d never see another NATS.

Sorry for the pity party.

Well the old DOC will miss another one.  My body says I can't attend, as well as family and no vehicle. So it will be the NATS news and this forum to keep me up on whats happening. D>K
