CIAM Bureau approved the new date for 2021 FAI F2 World Championships for Control Line Model Aircraft for Seniors and Juniors.
New date for World Championships is: 09 - 14.08.2021.
New date for "Warsaw World Cup" in classes: F2A, F2B, F2C & F2D is: 06 - 07.08.2021.

Thanks Brenda. That looks like we may have the Team Trials for the 2022 Worlds BEFORE the 2021 Worlds happens.............

Are the WC also confirmed for 2022 now? We will need to work the 22 TT schedule around the 21 WC.

The usual target date for the F2B Trials is Labor Day weekend. I don't know anything about the place or time for the 22 Worlds but I'd assume CIAM will want to get back to it's normal schedule following the 2021 (2020) delayed Worlds.

Right, those are the reverse-order foreign-style dates, also erroneous due to the use of decimal points instead of commas or slashes
09 - 14.08.2021. = 8/9-14/2021 or August 9th-August 14th, 2021
and
06 - 07.08.2021. = 8/6-7/2021 or August 6th and 7th, 2021
I would note that this means that, once again, there is a pre-judging contest so that when the real contest comes along, the judges will know how to adjust everything to get the "right" answer.

Any idea where I can get FAI confirmation that WC will resume even numbered years after 2021. I need to schedule the 2022 Combat TT which are usually at the NATS the prior year and thus would need to be held in July 2021 (thus before the '21 WCs).

I think that the reason for having a World Cup contest adjacent to the world champs is that the World Cup requires judges from multiple countries. The world champs is a place where you get such a gathering.
