We have fine tuned the 2020 ZACHARY, LA. CONTEST FLYER TO include OLD TIME STUNT EVENT which Brent Rogillio, the CD, added to the contest recently. Also added was info. about lunch being provided on Sat. noon, and the club having Sat. supper in early evening at the field sometime after competition. I believe the club is going to cook up something, just don't know what it will be. I know it will be good. I PROMISE IT WON'T BE NUTRIA, POSSUM, COON, BUZZARD, CROW, SNAKE, LOCUST, OR GRASSHOPPERS.

You guys are making me hungry...lol

POSSUM?
-
Sounds like it's going to be Yankee Pot Roast.
-
Let's just say it gonna be "Cajun Surprise". I'm hoping it's gonna be jambalaya like Jim said, but Blanchard and cousin are great cajun/creole cooks, so no matter what they come up with it'll be real good!

Site is on Port Hudson-Pride Road. Follow Hwy 19 north from I-110. You will pass the recommended Best Western where most of us stay. Continue north on 19, go east on Port Hudson-Pride Rd. Site is a few miles down, on your left.

Hello Steve,
What Svitko said applies. Site address is 7801 Port Hudson- Pride Rd. Exit HW-19 to RT. from I-110 loop( Baker/Scotlandville/Zachary)exit, Keep RT. head Nth on HW-19 to pass through Baker, LA, approx. 3 mi., then Zachary is next about 4 mi. Continue on HW-19 through Zachary through (3) red lights, about 1-1/2 mi. past third red light will be another red light (PORT Hudson-Pride Rd.), turn RT. and go approx. 3-1/2 - 4 mi. Doyle's Bayou Park (flying site) is on LEFT just past park ponds.
Probably the the easiest route will be I-20 to I-49 south out of Shreveport to I-10 east out of Lafayette. Get in left lane going over the MISS. R. bridge at Baton Rouge, and veer left onto I-110 LOOP. wILL BE ABOUT A (10) MIN. drive to the RT. exit to HW-19. Glad you are coming-safe driving.

Steve so glad you are coming. I think you will have a great time and be well fed. Also I would loved to see Doug come with you.

We will have sausage gumbo either Friday night or Saturday night at my house like we did last year.

Fantastic Contest! The Gleasons had a great time, as did everyone we saw! Brent and his crew did it right.
Thanks so much,
