2020 Ride almost ready to fly

Just finished with the buffing High Voltage 6! So much fun. On to the assembly and should be ready for Sunday. Hopefully the weather cooperates. 
It has a badass 3515 in it with a  Jeti spin 66 and a Igor Timer. It should be around 60 to 61 oz.

Thanks and not composite (next one) for the fuse sides I used very hard and a little on the heavy side 1/8”. I milled each side down to about .070” and it yielded a stiff and light side.

Nothing wrong with last years ship. I just have an issue and it’s called stunt, always looking to build a little bit better one each year.

I would love to know how the Badass works out.  I just love what you did with the nose.  My last two had the full bottom hatch like yours and the room you have for everything!  Side benefit is being able to finish the intake/scoop and spinner recess without it being in two pieces!  You can put a lot of crap in that cavern.

The badass work just fine! I put up 10 flights on it this morning. Fuel mileage was good, put back in around 1800, compared to the same plane with a cobra put back around 1950. Seems to be a little more efficient (Maybe?) with these electric power systems they all work really well and the motor doesn’t seem to matter as much as long as you match the kv to the battery. Few photos from this morning.

Nothing worse then having to perform surgery on brand new plane because of a lousy 4-40 bolt head the was stripped. The flap adjusting bolt stop adjusting at the field the other day and I was afraid it was the socket head. I hoping it was just my Allen screwdriver. No luck with that of coarse. So I had to cut into it to fix it, because you know if I didn’t I would need to adjust it. Now that I fixed it I will not need it!

The surgery was a success and the patient will live.

You have given me an idea.  Your surgery looks like a very convenient hatch right where one should be.  I am drawing adjustable flaps into my Endgame rebuild.  It has a flat bottom.  A hatch is a natural.
