Unwanted Ads
« on: August 06, 2020, 07:22:32 AM »
Last year my wife ordered some undergarments from Jockey.  Ever since we have been displaying ads here (which I support if it helps keep the site funded) all I get are women's underware ads.  While I don't find this particularly offending, my wife doesn't see the humor or buy my explanation.  I have done everything I can to stop through "AdChoices" them but nothing short of an ad blocker works.  Anybody else having this problem?

Mine are far more family friendly somehow, so I'm in the clear

If you erase your history and your cookies  then go browse some hobby sites it will probably show adds for them. Seems to be that way for me.

i'm just happy the whole "do you support our president, isn't he some super smart well spoken fella" ads have finally filtered out...

but, to force a change, delete your cookies and cache, and assuming you use google and facebook as well, you can go in to them and manually adjust the settings or clear out the ad info forcing a reset.
