2017 Precision Aerobatics Nats and Team Trials equipment
« on: January 11, 2018, 10:55:22 PM »
Can anyone give me a link or data on what equipment was used by the top 5 at the 2017 nats as well as the US team members for France?

The most recent issue of Stunt News has a complete listing of equipment used
by all Nats competitors.

The current issue of Pampa Stunt News has the full listing of equipment used by each flier at the Nats.  As far as the Team Trials go the next issue will have the TT report but it won't really contain such a listing.  I can give a few very basic details.

Chris Rud;  A design he calls Peregrine XL.  If I recall correctly a PA .65  pipe  powers it.  Bob McDonald carbon prop.
Richard Oliver;  Blue Max by Kaz Minato.   RO Jett .67  pipe.
Joe Gilbert;  His "cartoon' Hawker Hurricane.  RO Jett .67  pipe.  Due to the incredible wind at the site Joe flew his Profile Ringmaster-looking airplane on his last flight.
