Just a reminder that the El Dorado contest is being held this week end-May 2-3. The MASA club may have a new asphalt circle if the weather cooperates. Contest flyer is in the events section along with a correction on the flyer submitted by Patterson.

The weather is looking pretty nice.

Yea, the weather should be good. Hopefully the contractor can start and finish the circle before Sat. We are prepared with other options if it is not completed. The grass circle is in great shape and can use the Nth end of the R/C if needed.

I'm excited to see how the new circle turns out. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Dan, hope you are planning to make it. It will be cool to catch up with you.

I'm gonna be there. So is Mark Troutman. I'm hoping to learn the pattern. Maybe . Sort of.......
It will be good to see you again.
Is there a good BBQ joint?
-
Awesome! Look forward to seeing you both. We can grab some BBQ Friday night. We have pretty good place here. Saturday night I think everyone is planning to go to a Mexican restaurant as a group.
What time are you planning to arrive on Friday?
-
I was out there this evening...they have a good start and the new grass circle that Joe Bowman cut looks "real flyable." One thing though...It was cold as hell out there...end of April???? 45 tonight??? Hope to see everyone this weekend.

Noonish on Friday.
'Cold as Hell' should be fairly toasty........

Unfortunately, the new paved circle is not going to be finished for the contest this weekend. Anyone that reads this and is planning to come this weekend, please bring your grass friendly airplanes. We do have a well manicured grass circle that we will be utilizing.
