Title: 2012 SWRegionals results
Post by: L0U CRANE on February 02, 2012, 10:08:56 PM
Tucson's Cholla Choppers host the annual VSCs, AND the CL portion of the traditional SouthWest Regionals - which were the fabled Buckeye meets of the era from the end of WW2 to about 1990.

The results for the 2012 Southwest Regionals CL events are posted at:

www.ccmaconline.org/contest_results.htm

...except for the Combat events, which should come in shortly...

The 2012 SWR results link appears in a blue box, white lettering, about halfway through our contest results 'page.'

We had a lot of flying, and few to no crashes. John Wright did graze the paving with his model, but repairs let him fly it again. ONE Carrier model "deep-sixed" but otherwise no damage. (Again, not to mention Combat events, where collisions and premature 'landings' are part of the "fun.')

PJ,

Alfadawg was an air traffic controller. He stays unruffled, if terse much of the time.

...he barely flinched when he saw the final EXPERT score; Trostle's 561.5 to his 560.

Ouch...

Fantastic flying, anyway...

What did John Wright fly in OT?  Was it his Box Car Chief or a more modern plane?
