Title: 1st Test video up
Post by: RC Storick on February 05, 2007, 03:31:23 PM
I ran a test to see if I could make all this stuff work. The wmv file is small enough for dial up so the video is not real sharp and clear. It is uploaded to google however I will be streaming MP files from our server in the future so the video quality will be that of a CD.

I have no clue of what I am doing so please bare with me as I learn.
small file  980KB
[gvideo=400,326]-5193665979671762222[/gvideo]

I was going to upload a large file but it takes to long to do. So the large files will have to be on CD. I might do some short how to's in AVI here instead of just pictures. All these file have been edited and published from my laptop so I know I can do this on the road.

I clicked the play button and got nothing Sparky. Bummer. Not to worry I'm sure you'll get it to work.

Robert, Frank,
It played okay for me.
Very good, especially considering it was your first effort at this.  #^

Alright guys, remember this video!!! You can say you remember when Bob made his first video just like Windy with his Nobler.  Humble beginnings for sure, but in the future, when Bob gets on stage to receive his Oscar for best "Instructional Short" we all can say we remembered when.

Sparky
I just finshed watching the test video clip.  Looks good and good audio.  It took 37 minutes to download the 6 minutes of video at 50.6 kbps on dial up.

Robert, The video is just the latest example of what a person with intelligence, perseverance and most importantly a "can do" attitude can accomplish. Sadly many people miss the joy of accomplishment because before they ever try, they set themselves up for failure by thinking ,"I could never do that".

It worked for me this time too Sparky. I admire you for your energy and drive. You've got a lot of stuff going on at once and you're holding it all together. I don't thionk I know anyone else that could keep up with you.

Good Round 1 Robert! Thats a pretty good CCD in that camera; good video with just room lighting. Beleive it or not, the new light boxes used for digital photography are made with those spiral flourescent bulbs! I'll give you some details if your interested in making some. Just PM me..

If you don't make front row with this one, I'd have to say, without a doubt, the game is rigged! >:D VD~ >:D

Keep up the good work!

Wow Robert,

This forum just gets better, and better!  y1

My old computer doesn't even know how to spell video, much less play one, so I had to come over to my daughter's house to view yours.  ;D

Just kidding, we are baby sitting the grandkids today, so it wasn't an extra trip.

Keith said it very well.

Bill I got my Eya engine and have run it and so far am quit satisfied. Seems to have good power, starts easy but does need a little more breakin time than I gave it so far. Runs a little rough an sure that will imrove with age. a very well made engine as per enya quality. My test report so far.

Hey Phil,

 LL~

It's a proven fact that the amount of moisture (tears) in your eyes, effect the ability of your eyes to focus. Hang on, need to run to the fridge and add some moisture. I've only had two beers this evening.........  DK^
