Non Flapped Power
« on: December 28, 2015, 09:56:08 PM »
Does a plane with flaps require more power? I've got a SuperTiger 46 that flys my Humongous (630) with good power but, I've got a Thunder Gazer kit (630) that recommends a modern .61 with pipe.

Note necessarily, but you are expecting a lot more performance from a Thunder Gazer, in a far more demanding environment. I would also note that the Thunder Gazer is very close to the same size as David's last ST46 airplane. It would be absolutely excellent with a 40VF, too.
