Lived on Havenhurst st and shared a back fence with VNY . Was there and working at Continental Can when the Sylmar quake happened.  Cool place for a young man on his own for the first time. This was great. Thought I could see the old place in one shot.  Thanks

It's shame that 16R is the greatest threat to our flying field in the SF Valley.

I remember back in the late 70s turning base for 16L while a NatG C130 was turning base for 16R. Head to head with a C130. That was the sharpest 90 deg turn to final I ever made.

Will have to watch the rest of it later.   The DVD I have must be one of the first.  Of course it has been a couple of years since I got the video.  I hope they can keep it going.  I remember State Line Airpark that used to be at highway 150 and state line.  It is all houses now.   H^^
