Please give a few examples where a 15 inch prop would be useful in CLPA.

Now, a decent 13-4 might get a few customers.

I am making a nice 13x5 CF prop these days. It's from my "Billy's Toolbox" collection.Actually I am making several different CF props for Mr.Werwage and this is the only one I have permission to sell to others......so far.I am working on a proprietary 3 blade for him and Chris Rud and will be making molds for several more props that the master came right out of Billy's toolbox.I'm thinkin' if Mr Werwage worked it over and did the testing it has to be good!

Bob,
Windy had a bunch of these. He gave me some 12x5's that I used on my OS 52 four stroke. They are a decent prop and very stiff. Don't know if the 15x4 would work on common length landing gear.

Best,   DennisT

Well, a lot of people still use older methods, where the way to get more performance was to increase the diameter. That used to be true, but it isn't any more. I know for certain that competent and well-known modelers have in the recent past used 16-6 2-blades.

I don't think there is any way that you will get that to corner in a way necessary to compete at the highest levels, but you can make it work to some degree.

Please, please, please, every Nat's contestant, other than me, please use a 15" prop. Your results may vary.   ::)

Actually, I think the results might not vary all that much.

Vary.....as in their actual performance might not be what they expected.
