Title: 12th Annual NVCL Stunt Fest preparations
Post by: Scott Richlen on September 14, 2017, 06:50:36 PM
The 12th Annual NVCL StuntFest is coming up fast (Saturday, September 23) and we have the field ready.

It only took 9 bags of sand to get the take-off pads all leveled out and ready to go (but lots of work.)  And the field is mowed and raked so next week's mowing will put the final touch on everything.

Does take a lot of work to make a decent circle.   Where is all your helpers?   Dave is getting our circle in great shape with all the raking, shoveling and mowing he has done.  I have a grand daughter that keeps my schedule all screwed up.    D>K

Frankly Doc, if we get too many helpers on this kind of stuff people just get in the way of each other.  A bunch of our club members will be tabulators, runners, judges, registration, grilling, etc. the day of our contest.  So some of us put in our work before the contest, others the day of the contest.

i bought 4 cans of striping paint last night and will do that next Friday after final mowing.

The field should be in great shape for next Saturday.
