Title: 1/2A TWISTER (it's done)
Post by: Phil Coopy on March 13, 2006, 10:21:49 AM
Here it is, finshed! Don't know if the flaps will be effective at anything but providing drag but it's worth the try.  Came out at 7.28oz with the engine mounted. :P

you get a karma point from me. that was a quick job and it came out nice. be sure to give a report on the flaps.

Looks great!  What size prop are you planning to use?

Hi Phil,
You should have a ball with that one!  :)
I really like it, and at that weight it should fly pretty good!
A 6-3 or 6-4 sounds about right for a Black Widow.

You might give a 6-2 prop a try, too.  That's what I'm currently using on my LittleAxe, course it has a Norvel .061 in it too...anything over 2" pitch is too fast.  Maybe I oughtta look for a 7" prop.
