1/2a ELECTRIC EPIPHANY 202 NEW ELECTRICS
« on: March 11, 2025, 06:37:31 PM »
I just came up with a new 1/2A setup for the smaller planes.  I used the Epiphany 202 to install the new electric parts in.  It looks as if they should work well.  Badass 2305-1440kv motor.  As well as the usual 6-4 prop, this motor can handle a 7-4 prop.  The Badass line is powerful and efficient.  Gander away!

If you know already, I'm wondering how much flight time results from this motor/battery combination.

If you haven't flown it yet. please let us know the answer when you find out.

Thanks,

Joe,
I expect that the new package should demand close to the same KWH as the previous one.  That is swinging the same prop at the same speed.  In fact, the more efficient Badass 2305-1440 KV motor may lower the demand a bit.  I just finalized the package and put it all together.  Here is a photo of the box with the electric parts.
