Fellows I am looking for some 1/2 gallon rectangular cans with twist on cap and handle, can anyone advise me as to where I might find them??
Thanks a lot...

Not sure how to buy them one at a time.

It's hard to believe that McMaster-Carr wouldn't have them.

Big Ron had some, check with him.

I can't think of any product that was or is available in a half gallon metal can. I didn't think anything like that was easily available. I have an old kit for a small field box that Great Planes used to put out, and it came with a 1.2 gallon plastic jug that seemed really odd. I'll have to check out the local auto piant store and see what they have. it might come in handy.
Type at you later,

I think the list of what they don't have is longer :)

Thanks for the link. I've been searching the local hardware and home improvement stores for the pint or quart sizes. I think I'm going to order a 1/2 pint, a pint, and a quart can from these guys today, assuming they'll do single can orders..

On my flight box I used 1/2 gallon jugs that round up came in. I can fit two jugs side by side where one gallon used to be. Its handy when running different fuels.

I agree but its more than twice the cost of what appears to be the same thing from the Cary Company listed above.

Mcmaster Carr is not usually the cheapest place to get things but they are easy to deal with, shipping is reasonable ( even to Canada) and they are fast.
Hard to beat next day delivery sometimes. :)
And of course the variety of things they have is incredible.

Well, I just ordered a few cans from these guys. Some for fuel, some for other things around the house. My total was about $23.00. Be aware that the shipping is pretty steep at $13.50 and a small order charge (orders under $50.00) of $10.00 was added. If I order from these guys again, I'll make sure I have at least $50 worth of stuff I need.
