Just finished carving the top block for my new plane today, 12/12/12, from some of those blocks you gave me a few years ago.

Guess how much it weighed....

You got it.....12 grams!!

Hope my project doesn't fall off the building table and break on 12/21/12.....

WOW! WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT YOUR NEW PLANE? Our bud 'Randy Powell needs a GOOD NAME FOR HIS NEW PLANE...that is on the building table? You have a great vocab' when it comes to picking great CLPA model names?
About those Balsa blocks...WE WERE SO FORTUNATE in those early daze....when we had available BOEING SURPLUS ON SPEED DIAL huh? Joe Dill and I glean some pretty amazing boxes of balsa...HARD TO IMAGINE THAT BOEING ONLY NEEDED AND WANTED THE HEAVIER BALSA...and then always sent the rest to Boeing Surplus. GO FIGGGER?

Went to Church Wednesday evening only to find out there was a wedding. One way to remember an anniversary. My wedding anniversary or day we gave up made it final, 6-8-68. Hard to beleive she has put up with me this long.

I don't think so, the next time it will be 12 / 12 / 12 will be 12 / 12/ 2112. So you only have to wait 100 years to see it again! So Never say Never!

There's nothing magic about 12-12-12. Pretty soon we'll have 1-1-1.

We'll only have to wait until January 1, 2201. A lot sooner than the next 12-12-12.

If my math teachers are still alive, they'd be very disappointed in me if I thought January 1, 2201 comes before December 12, 2112

January 1, 2101 might be another matter.

And then, there's the Mayan Calendar...

Looks like - for some people - I'll have one fantastic Birthday Party on December 21st.

Got it figured out, though. The last time all the concentric/eccentric 'gears' or 'wheels' in the complicated Mayan calendar lined up this way, it said,"Tick."

This time it will say, "Tock," and start the next long count...

If not, it's been mostly nice...
