Title: "Rondinelli's "Venus"
Post by: builditright on February 12, 2009, 07:45:25 AM
"I saw Serge Krauss' post on Rondinelli's "Venus" and thought this would make a nice kit... ;)

leave your feed back here and if interested, send an email to: venus@builtrightflyright.com

approx. wing area: 600
Wingspan approx. 55.75"
.35-.40 eng

The Venus was designed in the early 60'and placed 2nd @ the 64 nats and as menioned in Serge's post it is classic legal.

Just curious would anyone seriously be interested in this one as a kit?

If there is enough interest in the Venus, we will make the fuselage to accommodate modern adjustable controls, a modern 46 eng. and a 2" wide tank which means the entire fuselage will be slightly wider than the original.

Cutting files for the G.C. are on their way to the laser cutter for a sample.

Pete Peterson's version of the Venus seems to fly pretty well.
