Title: "Reply" window with a mind of it's own?
Post by: Avaiojet on December 02, 2011, 11:18:55 AM
Why does the reply window jump around? Well, that is, when you reach a certain number of lines.  ;D

I'm sure there's a good reason.

Several of us have had this problem, and a search would turn up the solution. I believe it is to click on "tools" and then on "compatability view". 'hope I'm not wrong, but try it.

I think it has to do with your display width. Some posts have very wide links or graphics, for instance - on larger displays, there's no jumping around as you scroll through them. But on smaller displays, the wide image forces a horizontal scroll (left or right?), and when you're back to a narrow post, the display settles back down.

The solution is obvious - that new Apple computer with the 30" wide flatscreen display (plus perhaps 2 more screens of the same size). ;->
